Submit to be an Author for the AAOHN Core Curriculum by October 16

AAOHN is revising its signature textbook, Fundamentals of Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing: AAOHN Core Curriculum. This updated 5th edition will include clinically relevant and evidence-based foundational information for a variety of topics related to occupational health nursing practice.

Authors should be considered an expert in the field of occupational health nursing and should have an education background and/or experience with these specialties. Potential authors must be able to search for literature to determine current, evidence-based practice. In addition to revising a chapter, authors will be required to write CNE questions that pertain to their chapter’s content.

The authors will be credited in the table of contents, contributor list, and will receive a $500 honorarium and a hard copy of the completed textbook.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the survey with all the required information by October 16. Questions on this project should be directed to AAOHN's Director of Education Alma Jackson.
